RYLAND G. LEWIS

   WINDSOR - Funeral services for Ryland G. Lewis, 84, were held Wednesday in 
Purviance Funeral Chapel, Wakefield, by the Rev. Donald Trump.  Burial was in 
Colosse Church cemetery.

   Pallbearers were: Delmon Carr, Buddy Jones, Jett Spivey, Renny Spivey, R.C. 
Carr, Geryl White, and McClenny Saunders.

   Lewis died Sunday in his home.

   He was native of Isle of Wight County and had farmed all of his life.  He 
was the husband of Mary Avis Lewis and a member of Colosse Baptist Church.

   Other survivors include a daughter, Dorothy A. Lewis of Windsor; a son, 
Robert R. Lewis of Moline, Ill; four grandchildren; and two great 
grandchildren.
