Miss Frances Little Buried Sun., July 4, At Mill Swamp 

  Miss Frances Little, 37, daughter of Mrs. Blanche D. Little and the late 
R.J. Little of Smithfield, died Friday morning at her home in Smithfield after 
a short illness. 

  Surviving other than her mother are one brother, R.J. Little Jr., and one 
nephew, R.J. Little III, both of Smithfield; one niece, Mrs. Robert Cook of 
Ivor. 

  She was a member of the Smithfield Baptist Church, the B.L. Wells Class and 
the Lelia Brock Circle of the church and was very active in the Nursery 
Department there. 

  She was also a member of the Rebekah Lodge. 

  Funeral services were conducted Sunday at 3 P.M. at the Jones Funeral Home 
by Dr. R. Furman Kenney, pastor of the church, assisted by Rev. L.E. Holzbach, 
pastor of Mill Swamp Baptist Church, of which she was formerly a member. 
Burial was in the Mill Swamp Cemetery, Isle of Wight County. 

  Pallbearers were Charlie M. Little, Herbert Little, Lewis Delk, Freddie 
Barlow, Hendrick Bailey, Ray Buhls, Bennett Little and Jack Moody.  Friends 
of the family served as honorary pallbearers.
