She is survived by her husband, Bennett L. Luter; three sons, J. Ralph Johnson of Portsmouth, and Edward E. and Grover Lee Johnson of Suffolk; a daughter, Mrs. Ernnie N. Burkett, of Portsmouth; three brothers R.L. Mumford of Newport News, Matt Mumford of Petersburg, and Whit Mumford, of Suffolk; three sisters, Mrs. Lulla E. Uzzell of Windsor, Mrs Mary Chapman, of Hopewell, and Mrs. Lillian Meade of Miami, and six grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. at the Baker Funeral Home by the Rev. Duane N. Form [sic; Vore] and the Rev. Julian S. Hopkins. Burial will follow in Antioch Church Cemetery. ****************************************************************************** Funeral Tuesday For Mrs. Luter Funeral services for Mrs. Josephine Mumford [sic; Munford] Luter, 55, who died yesterday morning at a local hospital after a short illness, will be conducted tomorrow afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the R.W. Baker Funeral Home by the Rev. Duane N. Vore and the Rev. Julian S. Hopkins. She is survived by her husband, Bennett L. Luter, three sons, J. Ralph Johnson, of Portsmouth, and Edward E. and Grover Lee Johnson, of Suffolk; a daughter, Mrs. Ernie M. Burkett, of Portsmouth; three brothers, R.L.
