She was a daughter of James and Mrs. Virginia Turner Presson and the widow of George W. Lampkin. She was a native of Isle of Wight County and a member of Antioch Christian Church. She lived in Ivor 40 years and recently in Windsor with a cousin, Benjamin Presson. A funeral service will be held Thursday at 2:30 p.m. at Colonial Funeral Home, Smithfield by the Rev. Bryan W. Holloman of Ivor Baptist Church. Burial will be in Central Hill Baptist Church cemetery. Mary Edith A. (PRESSON; Mrs. George W.)
