LANKFORD Mills Everett Lankford, 71, son of Mrs. Emma L. Lankford, of Isle of Wight, and the late Joseph Lankford, died Friday morning at the home of his mother, after an illness of 18 months. Besides his mother, Mr. Lankford is survived by three sisters, Mrs. H.C. Duke, Mrs. E.H. Whitley and Mrs. N.H. Bradshaw of Carrsville; two brothers, David L. Lankford, of Carrsville, and G.D. Lankford of Portsmouth. Funeral services were conducted Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock at Beaver Dam Baptist Church by the Rev. J.G. Garland Moore, assisted by the Rev. R.E. Vellines. Burial was in Beaver Dam Church Cemetery.
