Lankford Buried Saturday Mrs. Sarah Bradshaw Lankford, 93, well known resident of Isle of Wight County, near Franklin, died early Thursday night, August 24th [sic; 25th], after an illness of many months. Mrs. Lankford was the widow of Elisha Lankford, who preceded her in death July 18. She was the oldest member of Beaver Dam Baptist Church. She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Annie Beale Bradshaw of Isle of Wight County. She is survived by a number of nieces and nephews. The body was taken to Beaver Dam Church Cemetery for graveside services at 4 o'clock Saturday. Rev. E.C. Thornton officiated.
