Richard Peerey. Burial was in the church cemetery, with Wright Funeral Home, Franklin, in charge. Pallbearers were: Roland Whitehead, Elliott Johnson, Walter Johnson, Eddie L. Johnson, J.C. Rose, Leslie Jernigan, William Rhodes and Robert Rhodes. Mrs. McFatter died Sunday in Norfolk General Hospital. A native of Isle of Wight County, she was the wife of Willie M. McFatter. She was a 30 years employee of P.H. Rose Co. of Franklin and a member of Beaver Dam Baptist Church and its Woman’s Missionary Union and Ladies Bible Class. Other survivors include her stepmother, Bertha Holland of Windsor; a daughter, Virginia M. Riddick of Powells Point, N.C.; three sons, J. Marvin McFatter of Suffolk, J. Wayne McFatter of Franklin and William Ray McFatter of Bakersfield, Calif.; a sister, Elizabeth H. Wilkins of Windsor; and six grandchildren. Ida Virginia (HOLLAND; Mrs. Willie M.)
