JAMES W. McENERNEY 

Smithfield, Dec. 14 - Funeral rites for James Wesley McEnerney, 56, of 
Bacons Castle, Surry County, will be held at 2 pm Sunday at Mill Swamp 
Baptist church.  Officiating at the service will be the Rev. J.F. Golston, 
assisted by the Rev. L.E. Holzbach.  Mr. McEnerney died Friday night in a 
Newport News hospital.  He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Susie Little; two 
daughters, Mr. Thomas Cofer, of Smithfield and Miss Anne McEnerney of Bacons 
Castle; three sons, J.W. McEnerney, Jr., and Clyde McEnerney, both of Newport 
News and Gene McEnerney of Bacons Castle; six sisters, Mrs. Pete Hargrave and 
Mrs. Lena Christian, both of Richmond; Mrs. Doris Pittman and Mrs. Judson 
Johnson, both of Suffolk; Mrs. Shepherd Nunney, of Pennsylvania and Mrs. 
Gladys Faulkner, of Henderson, NC and one brother, Ray McEnerney, of Isle of 
Wight County.
