Ann Powell McCarthy 

  Ann Louise Powell McCarthy, 86, died May 20, 2005, after a battle with 
cancer. 

  She was born in Palisades Park, N.J., and was formerly of West Palm Beach, 
Fla.  During her career, she was a secretary to various corporate firms and 
RCA Electronics Corporation. 

  She was preceded in death by her husband, M. Norman Powell. 

  Survivors include a daughter, Marjorie Powell of West Palm Beach; and many 
relatives in Isle of Wight. 

  Arrangements are in the care of Colonial Funeral Home, Smithfield.
