JOSIE IRENE THOMAS MOODY

   CHESAPEAKE - A funeral service for Mrs. Josie T. Moody, 92, was held 
Wednesday at 2 p.m. in Indian River Chapel of Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home by 
the Dr. Paul B. Watlington Jr.  Burial was in Mill Swamp Baptist Cemetery, 
Isle of Wight County.

   Mrs. Moody died Monday in a Norfolk hospital.

   A native of Isle of Wight County, she was the widow of Hazel E. Moody.  She 
was a member of Park Place Baptist Church and its T.E.L. Bible Class.

   Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Alice M. Deagle of Gwynns Island, Va.; 
four sons, Thomas E. Moody of Norfolk, Walter C. Moody and Elliott R. Moody of 
Chesapeake, and Freddie W. Moody of Virginia Beach; and a sister, Mrs. Clarice 
E. Washington of Chesapeake.
