LULYAN OUTLAND MILES 

   CARRSVILLE - Lulyan Outland Miles, 92, died May 5, in a hospital.

   Mrs. Miles, an Isle of Wight County native and widow of Reuben L. Miles, 
was a member of Beaver Dam Baptist Church and Carrsville Homemaker Club.

   Survivors include three daughters, Lucile M. Beckett and Christine M. 
Spivey, both of Carrsville, and Virl M. Waterfield of Smithfield; a son, 
R. Wilson Miles of Hertford, N.C.; a sister, Willie Mae Rucco of Carrsville; 
nine grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

   The funeral will be conducted at 3 p.m. today in Beaver Dam Baptist Church 
by the Rev. Richard L. Peerey.  Burial will be in the church cemetery.  The 
family will be at the residence.  Memorial donations may be made to the 
church.  Wright Funeral Home, Franklin, is handling arrangements.
