Herbert Matthew Munford 

  WINDSOR - Herbert Matthew Munford, II, 38, died Tuesday, June 18 in Sentara 
Norfolk General Hospital.  Mr. Munford was a native of Isle of Wight County. 
He was a pipefitter at Norfolk Naval Shipyard.  He was a member of the Isle of 
Wight Christian Church, former deacon and young adult class. 

  Survivors include one son, Herbert Matthew Munford, III; his parents, 
Herbert Elton and Evelyn Edwards Munford; two sisters, Ann M. Murden of 
Portsmouth, and Susan M. Huber of McGuire Air Foce Base, New Jersey. 

  Graveside services were held at 11 a.m. Thursday, June 20 at Central Hill 
Church Cemetery, officiated by Dr. Richard E. Prince and Rev. William A. 
Grissom.  Memorial donations may be made to the Isle ofWight Volunteer Rescue 
Squad, P.O. Box 97 or Isle of Wight Christian Church Building Fund, Isle of 
Wight, Virginia 23497. 

  Colonial Funeral Home handled arrangements.
