SALLIE JOHNSON MINGA

   CARROLLTON - A funeral service for Mrs. Sallie Johnson Minga, 91, was held 
Wednesday at 2 p.m. in Colonial Funeral Home, Smithfield, by the Rev. H.A. 
Edwin Clever.  Burial was in St. Luke’s Memorial Park.

   Mrs. Minga died Monday in Patrick Henry Hospital, Newport News.

   A native of Rescue, she was the widow of Hugh P. Minga.  She was a member 
of Riverview United Methodist Church, Rescue, and the United Methodist Women, 
and a charter member of Smithfield Eastern Star Chapter 127.

   Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Doris M. Warren of Carrollton; two 
granddaughters; and three great-grandchildren.
