She was a native of Pennsylvania and the widow of Norman R. Mingin, Sr. She is survived by five sons: William Edward and Norman Raymond Mingin, Jr. both of Smithfield. Jack David Mingin of Chambersburg, Pa. and Donald and Joseph Mingin, both of Carrollton; four daughter, Mrs. Sara Elinor Carnes of Sterling, Mrs. Sandra Lane, Miss Donna Mingin and Miss Lillian Mingin, all of Smithfield; and six grandchildren. A funeral service was conducted Tuesday at 2 p.m. from Colonial Funeral Home, Smithfield. Rev. Ken Salyers, pastor of Smithfield Church of Christ, officiated. Burial was in St. Luke's Memorial Park.
