Services were conducted at Trinity Methodist church Tuesday afternoon by Dr. T. McN. Simpson, assisted by the Rev. L.F. Paulette. A choir composed of members from the three denominations sang. Miss Moore finished her high school education in Smithfield. She then attended Harrisonburg Teacher' College and later studied in Columbia University. She was principal of the Fox Hill Public School for seven years and was later, because of her excellent record there, given the principalship of one of the larger elementary schools in Newport News. She was considered one of the best known school heads in Tidewater Virginia. Miss Moore is survived by her mother and father, Mr. and Mrs. Jarrett Moore and a brother, Mr. Hugh Moore, of Crewe, Va. Active pallbearers were Vincent Joyner, Morrison Fulgham, Cecil Cofer, Cecil Gwaltney, Jack Moore and Allen Powell of Newport News. The entire left side of the church was reserved for the honorary pallbearers, who were Messrs. Joseph H. Saunders, F.M. Alexander, W.S. Tabb, E.V. Stowitt, M.C. Thompson, Samuel Hedgepeth, Elmer Hogue, George Hall, H. Galloway, W. Reid, Milton Richardson, Dr. J.T. Buxton, Dr. J.W. Sayre, Dr. T. Alexander, Dr. Tucker, Dr. L.E.
