ADELAIDE PEARL LANKFORD NELMS 

MRS. MAT THOMAS NELMS 

  Mrs. Mat Thomas Nelms, 18, died at her home in Isle of Wight County near 
Septa at 7 a.m. Monday, Feb. 22nd.  The deceased is survived by her husband 
and a new born baby, her mother and father, Mrs. and Mrs. D.E. Lankford, 
two sisters and three brothers.  Before her marriage the deceased was Miss 
Adelaide Pearl Lankford of Warwick County.  Funeral services were conducted 
at Uzzell's Methodist Church Tuesday afternoon at 3 p.m. with Rev. W.W. 
Norris, officiating.

*Unmarked?  Not on the cemetery list.  Her parents share a gravestone there - 
   the date of her father's death is blank.
