Emmett R. Nelms Buried Nov. 18 In Woodland Cemty. 

  Emmett Richard Nelms, 83, died late Wednesday afternoon, November 16, 1960, 
in a Peninsula hospital after a long illness. 

  He was a lifelong resident and retired farmer of Isle of Wight County.  He 
was a member of Isle of Wight Christian Church.  He was the son of Benjamin F. 
and Mrs. Annie Atkins Nelms. 

  Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Sidney D. Murphy of Windsor and a grandson, 
Sidney Murphy Jr. 

  A funeral service was held Friday, November 18 at 11 A.M. at the Bullock 
Funeral Home.  Burial was in Woodland Cemetery.
