Nurney, of Newport News, formerly of Suffolk, who died yesterday in a Newport News hospital, were conducted at 3:30 p. m today at the Hill Funeral Home. Rev. J.M. Ammons officiated and burial was in the Antioch Church Cemetery. Besides his parents, he is survived by his maternal grandmother, Mrs. Hurley Joyner, of [omitted], and his paternal grandmother, Mrs. Charles Nurney, of Ivor. ****************************************************************************** Hold Rites For Charles Nurney SUFFOLK, July 5 - Last rites for George Charles Nurney, infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Delbert S. Nurney, of Newport News, formerly of Suffolk, were held Wednesday afternoon at the Hill Funeral Home. Rev. J.M. Ammons, pastor of the Zuni Presbyterian Church, officiated, and burial was in the Antioch Christian Church Cemetery. Pallbearers were E. Roland Lewis, N.F. Carr, and Barbee and Joseph Moody.
