JOHN DAVID NURNEY 

J. D. NURNEY 

  John David Nurney, prominent farmer of this community died Sunday night 
Sept. 15 at 9:45 o'clock at his home.  He leaves to mourn his loss a devoted 
wife and six children, Jack, George, Arthur, Marvin C., Anna and Willie and 
eleven grandchildren, one sister Mrs. Ella Cross, two brothers, Charles and 
William Nurney and a large number of nieces and nephews. 

  Funeral services were held at his home Tuesday afternoon Sept. 17 at 2:30 
o'clock and burial was in Mill Swamp cemetery.
