GEORGE F. O'BERRY 

  Windsor, Jan. 17 - Funeral services for George F. O'Berry, who died at his 
home near Windsor, Isle of Wight County, aged 57, were held this afternoon at 
Central Hill Baptist Church at 12 o'clock noon, conducted by the Rev. Edward 
Garner.  Burial was made in the church cemetery. 

  Mr. O'Berry is survived by his widow, Mrs. Annie E. O'Berry, and the 
following daughters and sons: Mrs. Sutton Goodrich of Newport News; Mrs. Roy 
Davis of Hopewell; Mrs. Horace Jones of Smithfield; Mrs. Lewter Sly [sic; 
Luther Slye] of Newport News; Florrie, Doris, William, Violet and Grace 
O'Berry of Windsor; two brothers, R.L. O'Berry of Smithfield and J.H. O'Berry 
of Ivor, and one sister, Mrs. Joshua O'Berry of Smithfield.

D.Cert. 1642 (Windsor #1) gives b. 14 Jul 1885, Southampton Co.  It states 
   he was struck by a falling tree 28 Dec 1933, injuring his chest & back. 

The 1880 Census -  e.d. 30, Isle of Wight Co. - gives age 2.  (p. 58B) 

The 1900 Census -  Hardy Dist., Isle of Wight Co. - gives b. Jun 1867, 
   but age 22; m. 1 yr., 0 children.  (Rents Farm #135) 

George & Annie Elizabeth BLAND m. 29 Dec 1899 in Weldon, Halifax Co., NC.
