Hill & Co. Funeral Home, Suffolk, by the Rev. Donald E. Trump. Burial was in Colosse Baptist Church Cemetery. He died Wednesday night in Louise Obici Memorial Hospital, Suffolk. He was a native of Isle of Wight County and the husband of the late Mrs. Minnie Carr Outland. He was a Navy veteran of World War I and a member of Colosse Baptist Church. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Margaret O. Spivey of Windsor; two sisters, Mrs. Faye Eason of Waverly and Mrs. Ruby Turner of Suffolk; two brothers, Carlton Outland Sr. of Carrsville and Fenton Outland of Richmond; and two grandchildren.
