She was a daughter of Aaron and Mrs. Missouri Johnson Wright and the widow of Junius Leroy Outland. She was a native of Nansemond County, the oldest member of Colosse Baptist Church and a member of its Dorca Bible Class, Woman's Missionary Society and Crossroad Circle. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. J. Leslie Babb of Windsor, Mrs. Letcher L. Turner of Suffolk and Mrs. Reidell H. Eason of Waverly; three sons, Leon E. Outland of Windsor, Fenton L. Outland of Richmond and Carlton R. Outland of Carrsville; two brothers, J.H. Wright and J.A. Wright of Carrsville; eight grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandson. Funeral services was conducted Saturday at 4:30 p.m. in I.O. Hill and Co. Funeral Home, Suffolk, by the Rev. Donald E. Trump and the Rev. Eugene Arrington.
