AFTERNOON J.M. Oliver, prominent Isle of Wight County farmer of Long View section, died at 7 a.m. Wednesday morning after a prolonged illness. Mr. Oliver, who is widely known, was a member of Whitehead's Grove Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 2:30 at Bethlehem Church between Holland and Franklin in Nansemond County, where he will also be buried. Besides his wife, he is survived by 7 sons, Johnnie, Jesse, Rea Parker, Ralph, Junie and Bennie Frank and Thomas. Also three daughters, Lottie, Ethel and Mrs. Emma Phelps of Suffolk.
