All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/va/vafiles.htm ************************************************ Rites Tomorrow For Mrs. Pippins Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Lee Pippins, 61, who died yesterday at Obici Memorial Hospital after a short illness, will be conducted at 3 p.m. tomorrow at the Antioch Christian Church, Isle of Wight. The body will be taken from the W.J.M. Holland Funeral Home, Franklin, to the church one hour prior to the service. The Rev. Ellis Clark, pastor, will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery. A daughter of John Henry Duck and Mattie Holland Duck, of Isle of Wight County, she was a life-long resident of the county and a member of the Antioch Christian Church. Besides her husband, she is survived by five daughters, Mrs. Dorothy D. Carr, of Newport News, Mrs. Bessie Mae Carr, of Carrsville, Mrs. Mattie B. Cutler, of Norfolk, Mrs. Garland Duck, of Franklin, and Mrs. John Warren, of Windsor; five brothers, John I. Duck and Fred Duck, of Zuni, Letcher Duck, of Suffolk, Randolph Duck, of Carrsville, and Arthur Duck, of Windsor; five sisters, Mrs. Willie Carr, of Walters, Mrs. Pete Babb, of Windsor, Mrs. Eunice Redman, of Norfolk, Mrs. Tom Cox, of Newport News, Mrs. Junie Mae Underwood, of Franklin, and Miss Junie Duck, of Florida; eight grandchildren, and her stepmother, Mrs. Mary Duck, of Carrsville.
