BELVA ELIZABETH REDD POWELL

   WINDSOR - A funeral service for Mrs. Belva Elizabeth Redd Powell, 74, was 
held Monday at 2 p.m. in I.O. Hill & Co. Funeral Home, Suffolk, by the Rev. 
Donald E. Trump.  Burial was in Colosse Baptist Church Cemetery.

   Mrs. Powell died Friday in Louise Obici Memorial Hospital, Suffolk.

   A native of Isle of Wight County, she was the wife of Rufus J. Powell.  She 
was a member of Colosse Baptist Church.

  Other survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Rachel P. Belcher of Suffolk and 
Mrs. Katie P. Howard of Salisbury, Md.; two sisters, Mrs. Frances Spivey of 
Norfolk and Mrs. Mahailey Spivey of Windsor; and two grandchildren.
