Mr. Powell was the husband of Mrs. Ann Oswald Powell and the son of the late James and Louise Robertson Powell of Isle of Wight County. Besides his wife he is survived by one daughter, Miss Marjorie Ann Powell of Newark, N.J.; a sister, Mrs. Mary Volpe of Carrsville, and a brother, Rowland Powell, also of Newark. The remains were taken to the home near Windsor of C.C. Robertson, uncle of the deceased. Funeral services were conducted at the Antioch Christian Church on Sunday afternoon at 3 o'clock by Rev. R.A. Riddle, with interment in the church cemetery. Active pallbearers were Sidney Crocker, Willie Harrell, Spurgeon Hatfield, David Jones, Eugene Robertson, Vernon Rose, Fleetwood Turner and Melvin Uzzell. ****************************************************************************** Norman Powell Buried Here Norman Powell, 40, of Newark, New Jersey, and former resident of Windsor, died at his home in Newark. He is survived by his wife, Ann Oswald Powell, a daughter, Marjorie Ann Powell, one brother, Roland Powell, all of Newark, and one sister, Mrs. Mary Volpe of Carrsville. Funeral services were held last Sunday at Antioch Christian Church. Burial followed in the Church cemetery.
