ROXANNA ELIZABETH JONES PHILLIPS

  ROXIANNA [sic] PHILLIPS

  Mrs. Roxianna Elizabeth Jones Phillips, of Route 3, died Monday, Nov. 15, at 
her residence.

  Mrs. Phillips, a native of Isle of Wight County, was the widow of George 
William Phillips.  She was a member of the Bacon’s Castel Baptist Church and 
the Ladies Bible Class.  She was the daughter of the late Robert C. and Nola 
W. Jones.

  Surviving are several nieces and nephews.

  Graveside services were to be held today, Wednesday, Nov. 17, at 2:00 p.m. 
at the Mill Swamp Baptist Church Cemetery, Ivor with the Rev. P. Dudley Neal 
officiating.

  The family requested Memorial Donations may be made to the Isle of Wight 
County Rescue Squad or the Bacon’s Castle Baptist Church Building Fund.

  Pallbearers were Raymond Edwards, Todd West, Barner Batten, Cecil Edwards, 
Gene Cobb Gwaltney and Gerald Gwaltney.

  Colonial Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
