Burial will be in Antioch Cemetery. Mrs. Piland, 72, died unexpectedly Tuesday night at her home in Isle of Wight County. She was the widow of Quinton Piland, and a lifelong resident of Isle of Wight County. She was a member of Central Hill Baptist Church. She was a daughter of William R. and Mrs. Minnie Edwards Presson. Surviving are one sister, Mrs. Marie Hautz of Norfolk; three brothers, W. Raleigh Presson of Windsor; Burton T. and Cosco C. Presson, both of Portsmouth; three stepdaughters, Mrs. H.C. Johnston of Suffolk; Mrs. J.G. Eure of Eure, N.C., and Mrs. Rufus Darden of Carrsville; and two stepsons, George W. Piland Buried at Antioch SMITHFIELD - Funeral services for Mrs. Pattie Allmond Piland, who died Tuesday, were conducted at the Bullock Funeral Home Friday at 2:30 p.m. by the Rev. B.V. Madison, pastor of Whitehead's Grove Baptist Church. Burial was in Antioch Cemetery. Pallbearers were Charlie P. Batten, L. Seward Darden, William E. Darden, J. Alton Whitley, Chilian S.
