RICHARD J. PARR

   Richard J. Parr departed this life December 23, 1931, after a long illness, 
aged 71 years. He was united with this church and was baptized by Dr. Jos. F. 
Deans, October 2, 1881, 50 years, 2 months, 21 days ago. He was regular in 
attendance at Sunday school, prayer meetings and preaching services until some 
five or six years ago, when his health gave and he moved out of the community.

   He was elected a charter member of Whitehead’s Grove Church.

   His funeral was conducted by Rev. T.W. Page, Dec. 24, at Whitehead’s Grove 
and burial was in the church cemetery.
