AUBREY M. PIERCE 

   WALTERS - A graveside funeral service for Aubrey M. Pierce was conducted at 
2 p.m. Monday in the Mt. Carmel Christian Church Cemetery by the Rev. Richard 
Squires.  W.J.M. Holland & Sons Funeral Home was in charge.

   Pallbearers were Cline Ostrange, Britton Pierce Jr., Thomas King, Joseph 
Mann, Claberta Smythe and Leonard Rose.

   Pierce, died Friday in Silver Spring, Md.

   A native of Isle of Wight County, he was a son of Stephen J. and Mrs. Ida 
Bailey Pierce and the husband of Mrs. Bettie Jean Pierce.

   Besides his wife, he is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Odessa Griggs of 
Silver Spring and Mrs. Cecil Carmmer of Arlington; and two brothers, Algier 
Pierce of California and Britton Pierce of Chesapeake.
