Mrs. Evalina [sic; Evilena*] Pierce Dies In Norfolk Sun. 

  Mrs. Evalina Darden Pierce, aged 80, died, at the residence of her daughter, 
Mrs. Leighton A. Wright, 309 West 34th Street, Norfolk, Sunday [sic; Monday] 
afternoon at 4:15 o'clock.  Besides Mrs. Wright, she is survived by a son, 
Theodore L. Pierce, of Baltimore, Md.; two sisters, Mrs. Willie A. Lassiter, 
of Suffolk, and Mrs. Monie Vaughan, of Greensboro, N.C.; a brother, J.M. 
Darden, of Suffolk; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. 

  Mrs. Pierce was a native of Isle of Wight county, but had been a resident 
of Norfolk for the past three years. 

  The remains will be taken to Isle of Wight Court House Christian Church for 
funeral services Tuesday at 2 p.m., and burial will be in the family lot at 
Antioch.

three years.  The body will be taken from the residence to the Isle of Wight 
Courthouse Christian Church for funeral services at 2 o'clock.  Burial will 
be in the family plot at Antioch."
