PIERCE WINDSOR - Ethel May Pierce, 78, a native of Isle of Wight who retired as a cafeteria worker at Windsor High School, died Thursday, Feb. 10. Mrs. Pierce was a member of Windsor Christian Church and its Bracca [sic; Baraca] Ladies Fellowship. Survived by a daughter, Catherine P. Asbell of Windsor; three sons, Bobby Ray Pierce of Deming, N.M., Jerry Morgan [Pierce] of Albuquerque, N.M., and Carey Jackson Pierce of Suffolk; 10 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren. Visitation from 3 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Sidney F. Harrell Funeral Home, Suffolk. Funeral 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home by the Rev. Eddie Walker. Burial in Antioch Christian Church Cemetery, Isle of Wight. ****************************************************************************** Ethel Pierce WINDSOR - Ethel May Pierce, 78, of 29 Bank St., died Feb. 10, 1994, in Obici Hospital. A native of Isle of Wight County, she was the widow of Randolph Morgan Pierce, and daughter of the late Jeremiah Pierce and Ballie Bridger Pierce. She had retired as a cafeteria worker at Windsor High School. Mrs. Pierce was a member of Windsor Christian Church and its Baraca Ladies Fellowship. Survivors include a daughter, Catherine P. Asbell of Windsor; three sons, Bobby Ray Pierce of Deming, N.M., Jerry Morgan Pierce of Albuquerque, N.M., and Carey Jackson Pierce of Suffolk; 10 grandchildren; and 16 great- grandchildren. The funeral will be conducted Monday at 11 a.m. by the Rev. Eddie Walker in Sidney F. Harrell Funeral Home. Burial will be in Antioch Christian Church Cemetery, Isle of Wight County. The family will receive visitors Sunday from 3 to 4 p.m. in the funeral home.
