G.] Pierce Is Dead at 73 WINDSOR - Mrs. Ruth Bradshaw Pierce, 73, died at her home in Windsor Saturday after a short illness. She was the wife of the late G.E. Pierce and the daughter of the late John Thomas and Victoria Bradshaw. She is a native of Southampton County and has lived in Windsor for the past 20 years. She was a member of the Windsor Christian Church. Surviving are five sons, J.B. and Julius E. Pierce of Lawrenceville, Eugene and Andrew J. Pierce of Windsor, and Randolph M. Pierce of Courtland; three daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Godwin of Apex, N.C.; Mrs. Alice Uzzell of Windsor, and Mrs. Mildred Petro of Hyattsville, Md.; two sisters, Mrs. Charlie Drewry of Courtland, and Mrs. George Eley of Petersburg. Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 2 p.m. at the Bullock Funeral Home, Smithfield, by the Rev. W.A. Grissom and the Rev. Robert Bailey. Burial will be in Antioch Christian Church Cemetery. ****************************************************************************** Final Rites Held For Mrs. Pierce SMITHFIELD - A funeral service for Mrs. Ruth Bradshaw Pierce, who died Saturday, was held Monday at 2 p.m. in Bullock Funeral Home by the Rev. W.A. Grissom and the Rev. Bailey. Burial was in Antioch Cemetery. Pallbearers were Hersey Pierce, Robert Pierce, Michael Petro, Robert Graves, George Graves and Rowlett Graves.
