Mrs. Presson, a native of Isle of Wight County, was the East Pavilion correspondent for the Tidewater News for eight years. She was a member of Colosse Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, Emerson T. Presson; two daughters, Helen P. Ellis of Windsor and Mary Ellen Joyner of Kennewick, Wash.; a son, James E. Presson of Carrsville; four sisters, Edith McKool of Virginia Beach; Emma Rogister of Windsor, Katherine Jenkins of Carrsville and Jane Clark of Wakefield; three brothers, Forest Cobb of Windsor, Herman Cobb of Franklin and Coston Cobb of Zuni; 13 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. The funeral was conducted Saturday in Colosse Baptist Church by the Rev. Mitchell Luckie. Burial was in the church cemetery. Wright Funeral Home handled arrangements. Stella (COBB; Mrs. Emerson T.)
