All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/va/vafiles.htm ************************************************ Rites Set Today For Mrs. Parker WINDSOR - Funeral services will be held today for Mrs. Martha Ann Parker, 68, life-long resident of Isle of Wight County, who died early yesterday at a Warwick hospital. Remains will be taken today at noon from the W.J.M. Holland and Sons funeral home in Franklin to the Mt. Carmel Congregational Christian Church. Rites will be conducted at 2 p.m. by the Rev. Edwin C. Thornton, pastor of Beaver Dam Baptist Church. Interment will be in the Mt. Carmel Church cemetery. Mrs. Parker was the wife of William Edward Parker of Windsor and was the daughter of the late William Henry and Anna Carr Howell of Isle of Wight County. She was a member of Mt. Carmel Congregational Christian Church of Walters. Besides her husband she is survived by one daughter, Mrs. M.K. Jones, Suffolk, three sons, G. Lee Parker of Burdette, Seron Edand Lennie Bradshaw Parker of Windsor, 16 grandchildren, great grandchildren; four brothers, L.H. Howell of Franklin, Clayton Howell of. Henderson, P.D. Howell of Chuckatuck and Norman Howell of Carrsville; two sisters, Mrs. Elessa English of Windsor and Mrs. Arthur Drewry of Carrsville, and a number of nieces and nephews.
