Cleo Parker 

  ZUNI - Mrs. Cleo Powell Parker, 71, of Rt. 1, Box 114, died Tuesday in 
Southampton Memorial Hospital.  She was a native of Isle of Wight County and 
the daughter of the late George William Powell and Mamie Crumpler Parker. 
Mrs. Parker was the wife of the late Albert Staley Parker. 

  She was a member of Liberty Baptist Church and the Adult Sunday School 
Class. 

  Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Annette P. Peden of Battery Park, 
Smithfield; Mrs. Paige P. Tomlin and Mrs. Shirley P. Bryant, both of Suffolk, 
and Mrs. Carolyn P. Vick of Franklin; three sons, George Albert Parker of 
Virginia Beach, Bobby G. Parker of Powhatan, Va., and William Patrick Parker 
of Suffolk; 21 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren. 

  The funeral will be conducted Thursday at 11 a.m. in the Sidney F. Harrell 
Home by the Rev. T.A. Powell.  Burial will be in Colosse Baptist Church 
Cemetery.  The family will be at 187 Murphy's Mill Rd.  Sidney F. Harrell 
Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
