ROBERT HERMAN PARKER

   WINDSOR - A funeral service for Robert Herman Parker was conducted Monday 
at 3:30 p.m. in I.O Hill & Co. Funeral Home, Suffolk, by the Rev. Donald E. 
Trump. Burial was in Colosse Baptist Church Cemetery.

   Pallbearers were Joseph E. Weaver, Ernest Weaver, Henry Weaver, George 
Parker, Thurman Parker, Gilmer Parker, Ray Duck and Franklin Gray.

   Parker, 59, of Route 2, died Saturday in Louise Obici Memorial Hospital, 
Suffolk, after a heart attack. He was a farmer.

   A native of Isle of Wight County, he was a member of Colosse Baptist Church.

   He was the husband of Mrs. Pattie Weaver Parker and a son of the late John 
Thomas and Mrs. Sarah Elizabeth Carr Parker.

   Besides his widow, surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Johnny Lee Scott of 
Southampton County; a son, Herman Alvin Parker of Franklin; a brother, Clinton 
Gavin Parker of Nansemond County; and two grandchildren.
