A native of Isle of Wight County, she was a daughter of John Milton [sic; Milson*] and Mrs. Annie Hall Ballard. She was a member of Beaver Dam Baptist Church, Woman's Missionary Society, and Faithful Workers Sunday School Class. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Richard H. Rawls, Jr. of Franklin; a brother, John M. Ballard of Walters; two grandchildren and a great-grandchild. A funeral service was conducted Saturday at 4 p.m. in Beaver Dam Baptist Church by the Rev. Edwin C. Thornton Jr., pastor, and the Rev. William A. Grissom of Windsor Christian Church. Burial was in Beaver Dam Church Cemetery with Holland Funeral Home in charge.
