All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/va/vafiles.htm ************************************************ RICHARD RALPH ROSE Richard Ralph Rose, 53*, well-known business man of Walters, died Monday morning at Lakeview Hospital, Suffolk, after an illness of three weeks. Mr. Rose was the son of the late John Richard Rose and Elizabeth Vaughan Rose, who survives. Besides his mother he is survived by two daughters, Miss Louise Rose and Alma Rose; four sons, J.L., Willard, Leroy and Richard Ralph Rose, Jr., of Walters; four sisters, Mrs. Berta Vaughan of Franklin, Mrs. Elisha Bradshaw and Mrs. Lillian Uzzell of Walters, and Mrs. Maude Griffin of Windsor; three brothers, Randolph Rose of Zuni, Charlie Rose of Smithfield, and Frank Rose of Windsor. Funeral services were conducted Tuesday afternoon at Mount Carmel Christian Church by the Rev. H.E. Crutchfield, assisted by the Rev. J.T. Garland Moore. Burial was in the church cemetery.
