SALLY A. ELEY RICHARDS 

  Mrs. Sally [sic; Sallie] A. Richards, 75 years old, widow of Solon B. 
Richards, died at 1:30 o’clock yesterday afternoon in the residence of her 
daughter, Mrs. W.M. Sykes, 514 Dinwiddie Street, after a short illness.

  Mrs. Richards was a native of Isle of Wight County but had resided in 
this city for many years.  Besides Mrs. Sykes she is survived by two other 
daughters, Mrs. T.E. Edwards, of Richmond, and Mrs. A.J. Miller, of this 
city; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Keely, of Suffolk, and Mrs. Donnie Johnson of 
Chuckatuck; four half-sisters, Mrs. Peter Tebo, of Norfolk; Mrs. George 
Bradshaw, of Suffolk, and Mrs. Ada Lankford and Mrs. John Powell, of Isle 
of Wight County; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and several 
nieces and nephews.

  Mrs. Richards was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church.  Funeral 
service will held in the Snellings Funeral Home at 2 o’clock tomorrow 
afternoon.  Burial will take place in Shiloh Cemetery, Isle of Wight County.
