Mrs. A. J. Reid, 65, Buried Dec. 5 At Central Hill 

  Mrs. Carrie M. Reid, 65, of Carrollton, died Sunday, December 3, 1961, in 
the Obici Hospital after a long illness. 

  She was a daughter of Martin T. and Mrs. Eva Fulgham Crowley.* 

  She was a lifelong resident of Isle of Wight County and a member of the 
United Temple Church. 

  Surviving are her husband Andrew J. Reid; three daughters, Mrs. Edith M. 
Reid, Mrs. Jesse R. Moore, and Miss Violet Ann Reid; a son, A.J. Reid Jr., 
three sisters, Mrs. Cecil Crowder; Mrs. O. Henderson Cutchins and Mrs. Cecil 
Wilson, all of Carrollton; two brothers, Mills T. Crowley of Smithfield, and 
Luther B. Crowley of Hopewell; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. 

  A funeral service was held in the Bullock Funeral Home Tuesday, December 
5th, at 2 P.M. by the Rev. Earle E. Henley, Pastor of Benns Methodist Church. 
Burial was in the Central Hill Cemetery.

Birthdate &c. from D.Cert. 32819 (Chuckatuck #379), which spells her 
   maiden name CRAWLEY. 

Her mother's D.Cert. 20306 (Newport #23) also spells surname CRAWLEY. 
   She d. 10 Aug 1937 in Isle of Wight Co., & was buried in Rescue; 
   not on IWCHS GSSTF reports.
