Holland & Sons Funeral Home by the Rev. Donald E. Trump of Virginia Beach. Burial will be Colosse Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jasper Carr, Taylor Holland, A.L. Duck Jr., Homer Powell, Guthrie Ballard, Lofton Rhodes, Norman Tippins and Lloyd Britt. Mrs. Redd, 86, died early Tuesday in a Norfolk nursing home. She was the widow of Charles C. Redd and a daughter of Benjamin and Mrs. Elizabeth Beale Crumpler. She was a lifelong resident of Isle of Wight County and a member of Colosse Baptist Church. Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Leonie R. Spivey of Carrsville, Mrs. Frances R. Spivey of Norfolk, Mrs. Belda R. Powell, and Mrs. Mahailey Spivey of Windsor; nine grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren and two great great- grandchildren. Gertie Virginia (CRUMPLER; Mrs. Charles C.)
