LUTHER LORENZO SPIVEY 

  Luther Lorenzo Spivey, 57, died at his home near Windsor, July 12 at 1 p.m. 
He had been sick for a number of years.  He is survived by a wife, two 
daughters, Mrs. J.E. White of near Woodland Church and Mrs. Lee Carr of 
Colosse and two sons, Aubrey and Edward Spivey of near here, two nieces and a 
host of other relatives and friends.  He had been a member of Colosse Baptist 
Church since early childhood and was always a faithful member.  The funeral 
services were conducted on Sunday afternoon by his pastor, Rev. J.S. Cobb, 
after which the remains were laid to rest in Colosse Cemetery to await the 
resurrection morn.
