WILLIAM EDWIN SPIVEY

   VIRGINIA BEACH - William Edwin Spivey, 64, of the 200 block of Consul Ave., 
died Oct. 10 in his home.

   Mr. Spivey, a native of Windsor, retired from Virginia Power as a cost 
estimator.  He was a member of Ocean View Baptist Church.

   Survivors include his wife, Nellie Spivey; a daughter, Donna Bendelow of 
Laguna Beach, Calif.; a son John E. Spivey of Virginia Beach; a sister, Grace 
Howell of Windsor; and a brother, John A. Spivey of Windsor.

   The graveside service was conducted Tuesday in Colosse Baptist Church 
Cemetery, Windsor, by the Revs. Mitchell Luckie and Donald E. Trump.  Smith & 
Williams Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel, handled arrangements.
