SCOTT, AGED 79 Funeral services for E.W. Scott prominent Isle of Wight County farmer who died at his home near Uzzell's Church Friday morning at 8 o'clock were held at the home Saturday afternoon, Rev. E.W. Somerville, officiating. The deceased was 79 years old and is survived by his widow, Mrs. Fannie Horne Scott; then children, E.H. Scott, C.P. Scott, J.S. Scott, Mrs. George M. Crumpler, Mrs. R.R. Edwards, all of Smithfield; L.E. Scott, of Caroline County; Mrs. C.C. Driver of Rescue; Mrs. E.W. Edmonds of Hampton; Mrs. Leonard Hart, Summit, Va., and Mrs. T.W. Bullock of Orange; 36 grandchildren, one brother, Albert S. Scott, of Richmond; a half-sister, Mrs. S.B. Wooten, of Hampton; a number of nephews and nieces, among them Jesse J. Scott, editor of the Smithfield Times.. Mr. Scott was a member of Uzzell's Methodist Church and active of the county having lived in Isle of Wight his entire life. Interment was in the Uzzell's M.E. Church Cemetery. Edward W. SCOTT, farmer, lifelong resident of Isle of Wight Co., d. 23 Sep 1932, at home, near Uzzell's Church, interred in Uzzell's Methodist Church Cemetery (Sect.
