FANNIE SCOTT OF I.OF W. COUNTY BURIED MONDAY Mrs. Fannie Boykins Scott, 82, prominent native of Isle of Wight County, the wife of the late E.W. Scott died early Sunday morning after a long illness.* Mrs. Scott is survived by five daughters, Mrs. G.M. Crumpler, Mrs. L.F. Garner, Mrs. R.R. Edwards all of Smithfield; Mrs. Maude Scott Driver, of Carrollton, and Mrs. Len Hart, of Fredericksburg; four sons, L.E. Scott of Woodford; C.P. Scott of Portsmouth; E.H. Scott and J.S. Scott, of Smithfield; 35 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held on Monday at 3 p.m. in Uzzells Methodist Church of which she was a member, conducted by the pastor, the Rev. E.W. Rawlings. Burial was in the church cemetery. Active pallbearers were Gene Edmonds, Robb Scott, Cary Scott, Phil Edmonds, Herman Scott, and Frank W. Crumpler. Fannie (BOYKINS; Mrs. Edward W.)
