Stephenson 20-year-old Collosse citizen, received injuries that resulted in his death Sunday afternoon at the Lakeview hospital. The accident occurred Friday night. The pulley caught his clothing and stripped them from his body. A blow on the abdomen punctured the duodenum causing an internal hemorrage. This caused his death it was determined by an autopsy. His entire body was bruised, but at first it was not believed that any of the injuries were serious. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. J.L. Stephenson, of Zuni, and a member of Mt. Carmel Christian Church. Besides his parents he leaves a wife, Mrs. Mary Louise Stephenson; a brother, James Stephenson, of Windsor; two sisters, Mrs. Sallie Bunch, and Mrs. Pearl Briggs, of Norfolk. Funeral services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Collosse Baptist Church by Rev. T. Fred Wright. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
