HENRY HOWARD STEWART, SR. 

   Henry Howard Stewart, Sr., 47, a farmer of the Windsor community, died 
suddenly at his home of a heart attack about noon on Saturday, August 2.

  He was the son of the late Hardy and Mrs. Kate Sherman Stewart of 
Philadelphia, Pa., and was a member of the Colosse Baptist Church. 

   Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Georgia Babb Stewart, one son, Henry Howard 
Stewart, Jr., and one daughter, Miss Mary Katherine Stewart, all of Windsor.

   Funeral services for Mr. Stewart were conducted in the chapel of W.J.M. 
Holland & Sons on Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock by Rev. Jack Boyles, 
pastor of the Colosse Baptist Church.  The Colosse choir sang.  Interment was 
in the Colosse Church cemetery. 

   Active pallbearers were Clinton Arrington, W.D. Barrett, Frank L. Brown, 
J. Hobday Godwin, Shirley T. Holland, Robert Nelms, Horace Pierce and Edwin 
Whitley.
