JAMES SELF 

  WINDSOR - James Self, 64, died Monday morning in his home, Watson St., 
Windsor.  He was the husband of Mrs. Olive Church Self, and son of the late 
Mr. and Mrs. Lemuel Self. 

  He was a native of Willis [sic*], Okla., a Navy veteran of World War II and 
the Korean War; a member Chicora Masonic Lodge, Charleston, S.C.; Norfolk 
Consistory Scottish Rite Bodies, and Khedive Shrine Temple, Norfolk. 

  Other than his wife, he is survived by one son William W. Self, Baltimore, 
Md.; a daughter, Mrs. Barbara Carol Self, of the home; one sister, Mrs. Goldie 
High, Florence, Colo. 

  Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 11 a.m. in the Sidney F. 
Harrell Funeral Home by the Rev. Larry McCall, of Antioch Christian Church 
with Masonic rites.  Burial in Woodlawn Memorial Park, Norfolk.

JAMES SELF 

  A funeral service for James Self, who died Monday, was held Thursday at 11 
a.m. in the Sidney F. Harrell Funeral Home by the Rev. Larry McCall, pastor 
of the Antioch Christian Church.  Burial with Masonic rites, was in Woodlawn 
Memorial Gardens, Norfolk. 

  Pallbearers were Coston Cobb, Tom Braswell, John H. Godwin, Frank Ellis, 
Garland Whitley, and Phillip Holland. 


James Barlow SELF, retired Chief Machinist, Navy veteran of WW-II & Korea, 
b. 22 Aug 1907, Madill, Marshall Co., OK, d. 28 Feb 1972, at home, Windsor, 
interred in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens*, Norfolk, 2 Mar 1972,

   Woodberry Forest Cemetery, Madill, OK. 

His father Dr. Lemuel Emeriah SELF (1875 - 1916) is buried in 
   Greenwood Memorial Park, Fort Worth, Tarrant Co., TX. 

His step-mother Luna L. (BELL) SELF (1890 - 1912) is buried in 
   Old Johnsonville Cemetery, Johnsonville, McLain Co., OK.
