SNOOKS [sic; SNOOK] SUFFOLK, Feb. 4. - Last rites for Percy Milton Snooks, of the county, were conducted at 3:30 p.m. yesterday at the Hill Funeral Home by Rev. H.E. Hardin, pastor of Christ Disciples Church, Norfolk. Rev. Hardin, accompanied by Mrs. Julian Goodwin, sang, "Safe In the Arms of Jesus," "Sometime We'll Understand" and "Abide With Me." Burial was in Mount Carmel Church Cemetery, in Isle of Wight County. Active pallbearers were E.W. Davis, F.L. Fowler, J.T. Ferguson, J.R. Johnson, A.C. Bradshaw and E.R. Bradshaw. M.Cert. 13418 (Suffolk #107) gives son of Amos & Eliza (GOSS) SNOOK; Rather, his mother was Delilah (GOSS) SNOOK. Martha (1887 - 1956) is buried in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Suffolk - Block B, Lot 56.
